Earn commission by referring other experts to Terac.
Know someone who'd be a great fit for Terac? You can refer them and earn a commission every time they get paid.
How It Works
- Share a referral link with someone
- They sign up and complete opportunities
- You earn 20% of every payout they get approved for, up to $1,000 per person
That cap is set when they sign up, and there's no limit on how many people you can refer.
Getting a Referral Link
There are two ways to get a link:
Opportunity-specific link: open any opportunity card on your opportunities page and copy the share link. When your referral signs up through that link, they're tied to you and that opportunity.
From the referrals page: go to terac.com/me/referrals. You'll see a carousel of opportunities available to share, each with its own link and estimated commission per submission.
Links are unique to you. Anyone who signs up through your link is counted as your referral.
Tracking Your Referrals
Your referrals page at terac.com/me/referrals shows everyone who signed up through your links. You can filter by:
- All: everyone
- Signed up: joined but haven't earned you anything yet
- Paid: have at least one approved submission that generated commission for you
Click any person to expand their row and see which opportunities they've applied to and what the status is.
When You Get Paid
Commission lands in your Terac balance as soon as your referral's submission is approved. You can then cash it out the same way as any other earnings from your earnings page.
FAQ
Does my referral have to use my link when signing up?
Yes. The link is how Terac connects them to you. If they sign up directly without your link, you won't get credit.
What if they already have an account?
Referral credit only applies to new accounts. You can't add someone who's already signed up.
Is there a minimum they need to earn?
No. You earn commission from their very first approved submission.
Can I refer myself with a second account?
No. Each person should have one account. Multiple accounts violate our terms and can lead to suspension.
Are referral earnings taxable?
Yes, referral commissions are part of your total Terac earnings and may be subject to tax depending on your jurisdiction.
